Keeping it Real Chi with Dayvion Harris

My name is Dayvion Harris. I’m doing good and I am from Chicago and something that defines me is football and my hair. My hair defines me because of how people stereotype me because of my hair. I would like to tell how other young black males with dreads get treated the same just because of what a few people did as in drug dealers and gang memebers. I would like to tell this story to show everybody shouldn’t judge too quickly just because a young man has dreads. The things that are missing from Chicago is that it’s not enough programs to keep kids off the streets and there are not enough active classes in schools. I would like to change Chicago by encouraging kids to do something active with their time .
