The way I like to get my stories out is verbally and through photography. I feel that if I can tell my story verbally, people will get an understanding of what I am trying to say. I also like to use photography to tell a story because it’s better to show the story than to tell the story. That’s the type of media maker that I am. Stories that are have realistic meanings to them seem more interesting than just the average “drama line”. Those aren’t as meaningful as the realistic told stories. This summer I plan to get more experience on other ways to bring out the stories of our Chicago youth because they don’t really get a chance to speak their mind, and that’s what I’m excited about this year at Real Chi Youth.
