My Real Chi Experience: Tim Smith

I would have to say my biggest takeaway from this program was the fact that I know being a reporter is not as simple as I thought it was. I learned that there was an entire process that was required in order to cover a story. At one point I thought that I only had to learn a brief overview of what was going on, but instead I had to treat every story like a miniature book report in a sense that I had to look up sources and facts all over the Internet.

If I had to give any advice to the future Real Chi Youth reporters would be to have patience with others. Patience is a key factor to have when working here since they will be working other people.
