Meet Documaker: Juan Toledo

JuanI am what many consider an artist. Being an artist does not only mean I am a painter or a drawer, but also a writer, photographer, and video producer. I love to explore the depths of emotion through the power of the mighty pen, the soft, fragile brush, and the marvelous upcoming technology that consumes the teenage brain: a camera. Although I have not mastered every skill, I hope to become well rounded in the media making business, and share stories about what Chicago youth has to face everyday under the towering skyscrapers of our city. I hope to capture the emotion of these stories through captivating forms of media, and give the power of speech back to the Chicago youth that desperately needs it.
